Racine Public Library Description

Mahjong Gatherings are a welcoming space to meet, learn and play Mahjong. Bring your own group and set, or come to watch and learn. We will provide three Chinese Mahjong sets, complete with pushers and mats, for players without their own supplies.

Rooted in Chinese culture, Mahjong has gained worldwide popularity, with regional styles like Chinese, Japanese, and American Mahjong, each with unique rules and scoring systems. Community members can bring their own groups and sets to play their preferred style of Mahjong or simply come to watch and learn.
