Build-Your-Own Planner Collection
Day trips are the best kind of learning and there’s so many opportunities to explore in Southeast Wisconsin! Pair these field trip planning layouts with the Southeast Feast resources and you’ve got a winning combo. Here’s what you get:
Two (2) field trip planners: Whether your priority is to venture outside of your comfort zone and explore Southeast Wisconsin or plan experiences to align with your learning, you’ve got options. The first is organized by Southeast Wisconsin counties and the other by subject areas giving you plenty of flexibility to explore local destinations and beyond.
Two (2) field trip journal pages: A clean and simple journal page to reflect on your experiences in written form and/or visually. The first page provides a few simple prompts and the backside can be used for more note-taking or journaling.
JOURNALING TIPS:
For early elementary students, consider interviewing them and being their scribe; jot down memorable quotes they’re narrating back to you. You can use these the following day (or week) to develop age-appropriate copywork assignments on separate handwriting paper.
Upper elementary and middle-grade students can work on the journal prompts independently; prompt your high school students to use the back side for higher level critical thinking and analysis.
See additional specification and product recommendations below.
